I designed and implemented a comprehensive, interactive two-day training program targeted towards our customers’ distributor sales representatives. This training program includes product training, market insights, and sales training - utilizing videos, presentations, role-playing, guest speakers, and humor. Lodging, dining, and entertainment are included and this training program is offered at no charge to our customers. The benefits far outweigh the costs.

The majority of our customers do not carry our products exclusively - but, instead, usually carry numerous lines of products from our many competitors. Therefore, I designed this program to not only familiarize the sales reps with our products and services, but, most importantly, to familiarize the sales reps with our company's culture, our employees, and their point of contact. My main goal is that they become very comfortable with offering our products and that they will not hesitate to grab their phone and call “my friend, Jon” if they should have a question, an issue, or just need some information.

With over 500 graduates in the last three years, this type of training has proven to be effective in increasing sales as well as greatly enhancing customer relationships and loyalty.
